Salt River

The Salt River glistens with spring runoff from the White Mountains, offering some of the best Class III and IV rapids in Arizona. Our experts guide you around boulders, over gaping holes, and through waves. Between rapids, you'll marvel at the canyon's geology and unique natural beauty, characterized by blooming saguaro cacti, soaring hawks and bald eagles, and ancient canyon walls. The mystical power of the Salt River Canyon's granite gorges, roaring rapids, and brilliant wildflowers is unsurpassed... no wonder this canyon is known as the "jewel of the desert."

Salt River Rafting trips are available from a Half-day up to Five Days.

San Juan River

The San Juan River begins in southern Colorado and joins the Colorado River at Lake Powell in southeastern Utah, flowing through the heart of the Four Corners region. From Bluff to Lake Powell, the river meanders through sandstone canyons filled with archeological sites and signs of ancient inhabitants. You may see herds of bighorn sheep foraging along the riverbanks, as well as many species of birds including eagles, herons, and osprey. The San Juan River exposes the harsh beauty of one of the most remote and spectacular areas in the country.

San Juan River Rafting trips are available in either three-, five-, or seven day lengths.

Rio Chama

The Rio Chama, a designated National "Wild and Scenic" River, slices through the high plateaus of northwestern New Mexico. Multi-day adventures begin south of the El Vado dam, where you leave the sandy banks to raft Class II and III whitewater. This spectacular river flows between towering red rock cliffs, alternating with pine-studded hillsides. Enjoy bird life as we drift past baby swallows in nests lining the crags and marvel as our rafts play hopscotch with solitary herons and flocks of geese. These striking surroundings inspired Benedictine monks to build a monastery and chapel on the banks of the river, and their red walls blend with the multi-colored sandstone cliffs reminiscent of Georgia O'Keefe's landscape paintings.

Rio Chama river raft trips are either one-day, or three-days long.
